The Veil and the Thorn

Exploring mystery, beauty, and hope in music spanning centuries, Lumina creates a richly diverse program for Lent. From Byzantine chant by Kassia, one of the first known female composers, to well-loved pieces by Bach and Vaughan Williams, to newer works by living and local composers, these radiant voices will help illuminate even our darkest days.
